Exterior Grading Works!

An easy way to protect your foundation and waterproof your basement is with updated grading. On a typical house in Minneapolis and St. Paul the process is very straight forward.

Most exterior waterproofing jobs can be completed in a day, with no need to enter your home.

All debris and material is removed up to 4 feet from foundation. The soil is hand graded away from foundation to create positive drainage. After grading the area is lined with 8 mil poly to ensure water flows as fast as possible. French drains are added to facilitate drainage and ensure lifespan of regrade. Finally the plastic is topped with landscape rock. Water will flow through a pipe to a daylighted discharge or drain field, depending on best location for your property
